SOUND FAMILIAR?

You're a sahm or wfhm who wants to set up your home so that your children will play independently for 5+ hours per day.

You want to get work done, fold laundry, drink a hot cuppa tea and read your favorite book while your children play happily in the background.

You know your children are capable, but right now they just follow you around, clinging to your leg instead of engaging with their toys.

Instead of playing independently they dump things out, throw them around and make a giant mess.

You are frustrated and out of ideas, but you are not alone.

I FELT THE SAME WAY.

Which is why I spent years observing, experimenting and collecting data until I finally distilled this strategy down to a concrete process. And I’m sharing my step-by-step approach with you in Simplified Playroom.

REPEAT AFTER ME

It is not my job to entertain my children.

My children are capable of playing independently.

Nope. You just need an area in your home that you are willing to dedicate to independent play. It could be a corner of your living room, dining room, etc.

I'm a busy mom. Can I go at my own pace?

Same here. That's why everything is go at your own pace and you have lifetime access. You'll also have the opportunity to get answers to your questions in the discord server.

Hi!

I'm Amanda.

I'm a homeschooling mama of three with a Master's Degree in early childhood education. I am easily triggered by clutter while simultaneously being an advocate for playing at home.. I know that from a child development perspective, PLAY is their work. My involvement in their play is actually doing them a disservice. Which is a win-win because while I"ll love being with my kids, I also needs regular breaks from being "on". And I really dislike "playing" with them, which is actually a good thing.

So I created this course--so that your children can play independently and purposefully at home, and you can get the moments you need for YOU. Thanks for being here!

WHAT OTHER MAMAS SAY ABOUT SIMPLIFIED PLAYROOM

Hi Amanda! I love that you’re engaged in the process and checking in! I have been loving the content so far and it’s empowered me to take instant action in our play space.

-Kristine P..

I love how personal your program is and how available you are!

-Kelsey Q.

It was getting overwhelming for us to keep our space productive and aesthetically pleasing (especially after the holidays), but you gave us the tools to organize and help decide what materials are best for our family. You were incredibly thoughtful in guiding us through this process.

Still Thinking About It?

From one mama to another, let me just give it to you straight.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO ENTERTAIN YOUR CHILDREN WITHIN THE WALLS OF YOUR HOME.

And you don't need a perfectly staged playroom with tons of wooden Montessori toys in order for your children to PLAY purposefully.

I know society is telling you otherwise.

But they are wrong.

Children are born with an innate ability to play independently at home.

All we have to do is give them the space, time and freedom to do so.

Several years ago, with a master's degree in early childhood and over a decade worth of experience teaching preschool under my belt,  I STILL BELIEVED I had to entertain my children when we were home.

As a result, I became an anxious, resentful mother.

I knew something had to change. So I put my experience and education into practice in a way that worked in our home and for our family.

I began using the physical environment in our home as a tool to support my kids in playing independently. I decluttered our toys and kept the right ones--toys that are open-ended and high quality. I set up rhythms and rituals in our day that made time and space for my kids to play independently. And I was consistent.

I will help you do the same.

You'll get everything you need here to be able to support your child in their independent play at home and to start making sustainable changes immediately.

And I'll be with you every step of the way.

What do you say?
